Goodbye to Back to School Blues: Brownbag your Flatout Favorites!
It’s that time of year again. The momentum of the back to school season has died down. While your kids are sick of homework and studying, you too are dreading the responsibilities that once excited you at the onset of the back to school season. It’s that time of year again. It’s time when you’re dreading packing a lunch.
We want our kids to enjoy the lunches we pack. However, we also want lunches to be nutritious and filling, yet affordable at the same time. It is challenging to pack inexpensive, nutritious and appetizing lunches. Often times, I find that I have to compromise one of my lunch-packing objectives to achieve the other two. If I prepare a nutritious lunch, it is expensive. If I prepare a delicious and affordable lunch, it is often unhealthy. It shouldn’t be so difficult, and it doesn’t have to be.
This season, now that we’ve been brown-baggin’ it for a few months, you and your kids are feeling bored and desperate for some new lunch ideas. Revamp your brownbags, with some of my favorite lunch ideas below! These simple wrap recipes will save you time, save you empty calories and fat consumption, and of course, save you money!
