Who cares about the Tiger Woods scandal?

Filed under: Flatout Fun — flatoutnews @ 9:35 pm

If you check out the US Weekly Magazine from Dec 21, 2009 with Tiger Woods on the cover, you are probably looking to hear the latest about the latest Tiger update.  However, you’d be Flatout nuts to flip by the Carrie Underwood article, and not notice one of her favorite tricks to staying fit: Flatout Pizza!

Below is the recipe for my all-time favorite Flatout Pizza.

Tomato-Basil Pizza

All you need:

1 Flatout Flatbread

1 tomatoes sliced

1 tablespoon chopped basil

dash of  salt

6 ounces part-skim mozzarella, grated

All you need to do:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In a saucepan combine tomato, garlic, basil and salt.  Cook over a medium heat stirring frequently till most of the liquid is gone; approximately 10 minutes Spray a cookie sheet with oil spray .Lay flatbreads on cookie sheet, and spread 2 tablespoons of sauce on each.  Sprinkle a quarter of the cheese on top of each pizza. Cook until cheese is bubbly and crust is crispy; approximately 10 minutes.  Serve immediately.

  1. Wow, this recipe looks delicous. I discovered this recipe and have been on the hunt for flatout bread so that I can make it! Is there anyway you can tell me what grocery stores carry this product? I live in nyc and the grocery store that I go to does not appear to carry flatout products. I am a huge fan of Carrie Underwood and am just dying to make this pizza!!!
