Color Coordinate with The Slimmed Down, Festive Flatout FRESCA

For those of you who have a more health-conscious guest list, and for those of you who want a more festive appetizer, check out my slimmed down Festive Flatout FRESCA appetizer below:

All you need:

Flatout Flatbread

Diced Tomatos

Diced Onions

Diced Green Peppers

OPTIONAL: feta cheese OR mozzarella cheese

All you need to do:

Preheat the oven 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a baking sheet with Pam.

Cook chopped up tomatoes (red!), onions (white!) and green peppers (Yup, you guessed it!) in a skillet with Pam.

Cut the Flatout Flatbread into quarters.  On each quarter, add the vegetables.  Optional: sprinkle a dab of white low-fat cheese such as feta or mozzarella.  Bake quesadillas in the preheated oven until the cheeses have melted, about 10 minutes.

Flatout SMART Note: Be sure to leave each piece open-faced, so your company can see the festive holiday colors.  And, if you are going to add cheese: make sure it is white.  Wouldn’t want to ruin the color scheme with orange!

  1. I must admit… I am not a huge Quesadilla fan…. but the red/white/and greens colors got me thinking and I am going to serve some red white and green as apps! Thanks very much for all the ideas and MERRY XMAS.
